Policies:
- Prices - All prices for materials and delivery may be subject to change
without notice unless otherwise specified.
- Returns – All returns to Kistler Building Supply,
Inc. must be approved by our Purchasing Department.
Returns not authorized will not be accepted. All returns that are not our
error will be assessed a minimum of 30% re-stocking
fee and must be returned freight pre-paid (if applicable) at the purchasers
expense. No returns will be accepted after 10 days.
- Shipping / Delivery – Price may vary based on order date, order amount
and delivery area. Please contact your Sales Rep or the Purchasing Agent for
more information.
- Quotes – All quotes are valid for the timeframe specified on the quote.
We cannot guarantee the same pricing will be available after the quote has “expired”.
- Backorders – There may occasionally be backorders due to factory delays,
shortages or other unforeseen conditions. Kistler Building Supply will notify
the buyer of such situations as soon as we are notified. If the customer requests
to “split the shipment”, Kistler Building Supply will pay for
the backorder to be shipped when it comes in.
- Damaged Goods – We make every effort to ship the highest quality materials,
but there is the potential for occasional issues. You are responsible for
inspecting your materials as soon as you receive it and bringing it to our
attention immediately.
- Special Orders – Special orders may require a 50%deposit prior to
order, with balance due at shipment, unless other credit arrangement. Special
orders that are returned may be subject to a restocking fee.
- Returned Checks – Checks returned for insufficient funds are subject
to a $50.00 fee. It is management’s discretion to request other forms
of payment for returned checks or future purchases.
- Disputed Invoice/Charge – If you have a dispute, you must produce
original sales order to Kistler Building Supply for review.
- Credit Card Charge Disputes - If you feel Kistler Building Supply has charged
your credit card erroneously or incorrectly, you must make every effort to
resolve the issue directly with Kistler Building Supply, Inc. by calling 1-800-KISTLER
during normal business hours before reporting it to the credit card company.
If you do report a problem to the credit card company and it is found to be
our error, we will rectify the situation. If you are in error, and we incur
a fee, you will be charged said fee.
- Delivery Site – It is customer’s responsibility to insure that
the delivery site is clearly identified, easily accessible to delivery vehicle
and adequate to accept a delivery/ delivery vehicle. If the delivery driver
deems the site inaccessible at the time of delivery you may be charged again
for a return trip.
- Property Damage due to delivery – Delivery site terrain can vary due
to many reasons, such as; location, actual scope of the job, progress of the
job, and weather conditions, to name a few. We cannot be responsible for damages
due to the weight of the delivery vehicles.
