SYP (Southern Yellow Pine)
Southern Pine lumber is suitable for use in residential, nonresidential
and industrial applications. With higher design values then other framing
lumber, SYP lumber will give you the strength and stability to excel with
any project. SYP lumber is typical dried to <19% which gives superior
stability, minimizes shrinkage and increases nail holding ability. Excellent
for use as floor joists, headers or rafters.
